Long before the beaches around Cancun were a tourist Mecca for Mexico vacations, surfers were flocking to Matanchen Bay in northern Nayarit. Since the 1950s, hundreds of surf spots up and down the 2,000 miles of Mexico's tropical coastline have been found. Some of them are in the middle of nowhere, while others are near small fishing villages and still others are next to major cities.

For die-hard surfers, the year-round long points, reefs and hollow beachbreaks make it worth the effort of trekking down long, rutted roads and camping out in order to surf the best spots. For the casual surfing crowd, they would prefer a place with comfortable rooms and a few good restaurants like Puerto Escondido. This spot also happens to be the country's gold standard of surfing, nicknamed the Mexican Pipeline because the shape and power of the waves resemble Oahu's famous Banzai Pipeline.

Opened ended vacations are gaining ground, as more and more companies have started offering them, to their employees. High tech professional companies and white collared employers are more into it.
Employees do not get any fixed time or official limit for vacations. They only need to get prior approval and to see to it that work does not get hampered during their absence.
By "unfixing" vacations employers are liberating themselves from orthodox procedures into more liberal and employee friendly terms and removing old fashioned constraints in the process.
According to Steve Swasey, spokesperson of Netflix Inc., the culture at Netflix being open ended, open ended vacations fit in well, as focus is on the what work is done, rather than on the number of hours worked. People also keep in touch through the net and the phone, to sort out major issues, during vacations.

Hotel Radha Pvt Ltd, a Chennai-based hotel which owns Chariot Beach Resort at Mahabalipuram is planning to come up with 4 luxury resorts in various tourist destinations in Tamil Nadu. These luxury resorts will be an investment of around 65 crores.
The authorities of Radha hotel have finalized a piece of land in Pondicherry which is located close to Madurai, for building luxury resorts with 35 to 40 rooms. R Ravi, the director of Chariot Beach Resort said that "The luxury resorts in Pondicherry would be open for public in a year's time and the other three resorts are expected to open in the coming two years". The company anticipates 50% growth by next year. Their first resort in Mahabalipuram has had a profit of over Rs 18 crores.
